Description:

Still life paintings are often basic and ignored. The cityscapes and landscapes usually make best decorative pieces at home. However, this form of art usually have deeper meanings and if you use your imagination, you will discover that they are actually relatable. Take this broken concrete, for example. It looks like something that stood the test of time. However, it remained unmoved and undisturbed despite the fragments taken away from it. Similarly in life, when trials arise, more often than not, we get damaged. But the most important things will keep us standing still. Our base, our core, these can never be broken. This concrete block is us. Let this painting be a reminder of what it takes to be irrepressible.
